Shyne the Martyr
Welcome Back Shyne, or should I say Mr. Leviy. I would love to hear about your spiritual journey while incarcerated. Some would say you sacrificed your freedom for Diddy‘s (and J Lo’s) convenience. But I wonder where your spirit is now, and where you are with God. I can see some of your spiritual journey in the lyrics of your music. But I would love to hear something a bit more explicit… Be blessed. Keeping you in prayer as you manage through your post-release supervision and work things out with Immigration officials.
“Observe me, on a journey puttin niggaz on gurneys till I meet my maker
In the name of Amadou Diallo fuck Guiliani and Howard Seiffler” ~ Martyr – Shyne
1) He got an Orioles hat on?
2) Didn’t he get put on because he sounded like Biggie (but with much less gravitas)?
Great article sis. Exactly what happened with that whole PDiddy- JLo incident? Did he take the charge for them?
I didn’t know Shyne’s father was the prime minister of Belize.
“Edge” out of “Godfather Buried Alive” has always been my favorite. A decade in prison, that sucks.
“I don’t know how to chill till I’m in the morgue. Dysfunctional, highly uncomfortable, paranoid.”
I once looked at rapper Shyne as being heir to the East Coast’s throne. Then the club event took place, followed by prison. As you stated, perhaps Shyne has found the silver lining within such a dark cloud and now has accepted a much higher calling.
That’s wild. Poor boo. I wonder what’s on his mind as he moves about this changed landscape?
